STRAY DOG MERCILESSLY BEATEN: DISTURBING VIDEO GOES VIRAL

In an inhuman and shocking case, a stray dog was mercilessly beaten up by security guards in Worli, Mumbai after it took shelter at a building during the heavy rains.

The video of the incident has been going viral on social media that has become an outrage in the country. In the sad and shocking video, the dog can be seen writhing in pain as the security guards look at him from a distance.

According to India TV reports, the ghastly crime was ordered by a resident on the second floor of Turf View building in Nehru Planetarium on July 24. Bhatia, who instructed the watchman to thrash the dog so that no other animal dared to enter the building premises. Acting on Bhatia's instructions, the watchman beat up the dog ruthlessly, leaving it to suffer in the society's compound.

After the incident went viral, the police registered a case and arrested the two accused but they were later released on bail, Times Now reported.

Taking this case in hand and seriously, Bombay Animal Rights took cognizance of the incident and an FIR has been registered in the matter. They have also urged people to gather at the Turf View building on Tuesday to stage a protest against animal cruelty.
