Kerala Court's breaking judgement in Jisha’s murder case

In a landmark judgment, the Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court on Thursday sentenced the murderer of the Kerala law student Jisha to death. Ameerul Islam, who was found guilty in the rape and murder of Jisha was convicted of murder, rape, wrongful confinement and house trespassing. He raped and murdered her in her own house in June 2016.
