WHY WAS SUSHANT REPLACED IN FOUR MOVIES? WAS IT NEPOTISM? SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI REVEALS TO POLICE!

As Mumbai Police continue to probe into the death case of Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali was taken into questioning. He was reportedly planning to cast the actor in four films but replaced him due to other commitments. 

The filmmaker’s statement with the police was recorded on Monday and the interrogation was held for three hours. The Mumbai Police is investigating allegations of professional rivalry, apart from the mental health issues the actor faced that led him to suicide. 

As per media reports, he was questioned about the actor’s contracts with various production houses and the reason why projects were shelved. The filmmaker told the police that he couldn’t cast Sushant because his dates were not available for his projects, so he had to offer the role to other actors. 

So far, statements from 34 people including family, friends, co- stars and close aides have been taken by the police. 

The police told the media that they are now waiting for a response from twitter about the posts put out allegedly by the actor’s account and shared on social media in the hours before his death. 

The security footage from his building was examined. There were no CCTVs in his apartment. The police are also waiting for forensic reports of objects which were recovered from his room. 

The Actor died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra Residence in Mumbai.
