A 38-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death in an alcohol rehabilitation centre in Bengaluru. According to reports on The Hindu, the man was tied to a chair and beaten up by PVC pipes and rods whenever he became violent. A complaint was reportedly lodged at Hennur police station by the family of the deceased. The staff, who allegedly thrashed him has absconded, reports say.
