MEDICAL APATHY! RATS EAT COMA PATIENT'S FOOT AT GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL; FAMILY IN SHOCK

In a shocking and bizarre case from Madhya Pradesh's Ratlam city, rats were seen eating the right foot of a patient who is in coma and undergoing treatment at a government hospital.

The patient has been identified as Sooraj Bhatti, who as been undergoing treatment at the district hospital for the past several days. This situation clearly shows the poor health infrastructure in the country that is making headlines.

As per India Today reports, the rats have eaten into the skin of the patient as his family members are waiting for his revival. This incident came to light when Sooraj's father arrived at the hospital to visit him on August 5.

The father seen blood stains on Sooraj's hospital bed and observed that he was bleeding from his right foot. He immediately rushed to ask the nurses and doctors about the bleeding, who told him that rats must have eaten into his foot at night, India Today further deported.

When family complained about this issue to higher authorities, they were replied saying that there is no way to take out the rat menace in the hospital.

When media contacted a surgeon, Anand Chandlekar, he said that the hospital will take adequate steps to get rid of the rodent menace.
