Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Tamil Nadu’s Mamallapuram for an informal summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping last week which ended up to be a grand meeting.

PM Modi reveals stick-like object he was carrying at beach

More than the meeting, people on social media were curious to know the stick-like object that PM Modi was holding while he went ‘plogging’ on a beach in Mamallapuram.

Days after suspense, PM Modi on Sunday said it was an acupressure roller that he often uses. He clarified this thorough a tweet on his official twitter handle saying, “Since yesterday, many of you have been asking – what is it that I was carrying in my hands when I went plogging at a beach in Mamallapuram. It is an acupressure roller that I often use. I have found it to be very helpful".

PM Modi also posted a three-minute video; he is seen collecting waste on the beach, where he also urged the people to ensure that public places are clean and tidy.

PM Modi posted the video with a caption saying, "Plogging at a beach in Mamallapuram this morning. It lasted for over 30 minutes…Let us ensure our public places are clean and tidy! Let us also ensure we remain fit and healthy".

While, in another tweet, PM Modi said, ”Refreshing walk and exercises in Mamallapuram, along the scenic coast.”

Plogging has become very famous across the country and nation. It is an international workout trend that began in Sweden in 2016. While people are plogging they involve in jogging or brisk walking not forgeting they do all this while picking up trash.
