NIRMALA SITHARAMAN COULD NOT FINISH FINAL 2 PAGES OF BUDGET 2020 SPEECH; OTHER MP'S RUSH TO HELP

During the Union Budget 2020 speech, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman cut short her speech as she felt unwell. She appeared to be too tired after speaking for 160 minutes in the Lok Sabha.

February 1, 2020 saw and heard the longest Budget speech by any finance minister. Finance Minister Sitharaman, broke her own record of a 2-hour-17-minute Budget speech in July 2017. 

According to India Today reports, Sitharaman had only two pages of her Budget speech left when she appeared uneasy. During her speech, she was also seen wiping her sweat from her forehead.

Amid the speech, Sitharaman was also offered chocolates by few MP's but that did not help. Then she finally decided to discontinue her speech by asking Speaker Om Birla to consider the last two pages as read, India Today further reported.
