A 26-year-old veterinary doctor was brutally raped and murdered by four people on Wednesday in Hyderabad. The nation is enraged by the incident and people are dmeanding justice for the victim.
The girl was lured in the pretense of help, she was trapped and kidnapped and raped. Later, they strangled her and immolated her.
Various people are raising their voices as girls are not safe even years after Nirbhaya, a case that shocked the entire nation.
Cricketer Ashwin has took it to Twitter to express his thoughts on the incident. "I regret putting #shame tweets for incidences like that of #PriyankaReddy The girl surely dint deserve this and I feel nothing but pain for her loved ones. It’s a cringeful act and the criminals must be dealt with like never before in order to stop such crimes in the future" he tweeted.
