Home Minister Amit Shah who was admitted to hospital early in August after he tested positive for the novel coronavirus, has once again been admitted to hospital. He was admitted at the All India Institute of Medical Science, Delhi, days after he recovered from coronavirus.

He is currently under observation. Reportedly, Dr Randeep Guleria along with a team of doctors are monitoring the Home Minister’s health condition. "He is comfortable and continuing his work from hospital," AIIMS stated in a medical bulletin published on Monday morning.  

The 55-year-old who has been complaining of fatigue and body ache over the last couple of days, tested negative for coronavirus, almost two weeks after receiving treatment for COVID-19 from Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. Following that, he was in home isolation. 

“Around 2 am on Monday night, Amit Shah was taken to AIIMS and was admitted to a private ward at the premier hospital in Delhi. His condition is being monitored by an expert team led by the AIIMS director. He is currently under observation,” India Today reported.
