BJP senior leader and former national secretary and vice president of the party, Ila Ganesan, has reportedly sworn in as the Rajya Sabha MP, on Friday. Ganesan was selected for the post from Madhya Pradesh, succeeding Najma Heptulla. Notably, Ganesan lost in both 2009 and 2014 Lok Sabha elections contesting from South Chennai.
