Appa Rao Podile, vice-chancellor of the University of Hyderabad, came under pressure again on Tuesday after he admitted to plagirising six sentences in three research papers co-authorised by him. The three research papers were submitted in 2007 and 2014, which had at least six plagiarised sentences. Appa Rao has already been facing calls to resign since the death of Dalit research scholar Rohith Vemula.
