According to reports, Dutch brewer Heineken has bought around 18.54 lakh shares in United Breweries in a deal estimated at nearly $ 22.7 million. Heineken now holds a 43.7% stake in United Breweries while Vijay Mallya has a 30.71% stake in the company. Heineken owns over 119 breweries in more than 65 countries.
