The Hyderabad District Badminton Association president of the association V Chamundeshwarnath on Thursday announced that Shuttler PV Sindhu will be gifted a BMW for her achievement in 2016 Rio Olympics. Sindhu became the first Indian to reach an Olympic badminton final after she defeated Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara in straight sets and will play for gold against Spain’s Carolina Marin on Friday.
