Fox News founder Roger Ailes has reportedly resigned as the network’s Chairman over allegations of sexual harassment by a number of female employees. Ailes had received an ultimatum from the company to resign before August 1 or be fired for 'justifiable cause'. However, the parent company,  21st Century Fox's statement made no reference to these accusations.
