A Jet Airways flight, 9W 2839 from Bengaluru to Mysore, was forced to land back at Bengaluru airport after smoke was detected in the cabin. All 65 passengers and four crew members are safe, as precautionary evacuation of guests and crew were carried out immediately on landing.
