According to reports, AIADMK(A) candidate for the R K Nagar Assembly constituency elections TTV Dhinakaran on Monday criticised the decision to cancel the bypoll. Dhinakaran reportedly held Election Commission and Centre responsible for the cancellation of the poll. Stating that unnecessary Income Tax raids were conducted, he said the Centre and the EC don’t want the poll to be conducted.
