TECH MAHINDRA INTRODUCES & PLANS TO EXTEND BENEFITS FOR EMPLOYEES AMID COVID-19: READ HOW? 

IT major Tech Mahindra, recently launched Mhealthy, for employees. It is a solution to enable workforce and community safety against deadly COVID-19. 

As per an Economic Times report, Mhealthy is a solution that uses technologies including artificial intelligence and machine learning so that employees are enabled to data driven digital diagnostics.

Amid the pandemic crisis, Tech Mahindra has rolled-out new plans for employees like;

- phase-wise screening starting with third-party vendors across its India offices 

- plans to extend the benefits to its employees and customers

- partner ecosystem

As work from home has become the new normal, Tech Mahindra is working and planning to safely reopen offices for a limited number of employees using the best available screening technology.

Also, as per a company release. Mhealthy enables screening of the individuals at the workplace on a regular interval to check for risk factors of COVID-19. The screening would relate to comorbid conditions, immunity status, and biomarkers of infection.

"Not only does the solution do an instant risk assessment on COVID-19, but also additionally screens multiple factors that may contribute to risk. In the ‘new normal’, this is as essential as a seatbelt while driving,” CP Gurnani, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Tech Mahindra, said.

Highlighting about other factors in the plan, there are other key attributes which include a 96 percent accurate antibody test along-with over 32 screening tests on a single platform.

Meanwhile, Mhealthy connects health providers with employees, tracks and monitors the overall health of the workforce, that provides scalable results through real time dashboard and audio or video health consultation thus reducing consultation time and action, the release further added.
