READ AMAZON CEO'S RESPONSE TO AN ANGRY CUSTOMER'S EMAIL

After the death of George Floyd, the United States is witnessing large-scale protests where people are taking to the streets with the message "Black Lives Matter." Several big companies and well-known personalities have also come out in support of the protests. Amazon was one of the companies to support the movement.

However, it seems like one of Amazon's customers was not too happy with the kind of message the company was sending on the matter. The customer even wrote an email to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos expressing his disappointment.

"You obviously are not an idiot or you wouldn't have the financial success that you have had. I was placing an order with your company when I discovered your statement of support for Black Lives Matter. I canceled my order and I know for a fact that I won't be the only one," the customer wrote.

As reported by Business Insider, in response, Bezos wrote: There have been a number of sickening but not surprising responses in my inbox since my last post. This sort of hate should not be allowed to hide in the shadows. It's important to make it visible. This is just one example of the problem.

Referring to the customer announcing the cancellation of his Amazon order, Bezos wrote that he was "the kind of customer I'm happy to lose."
