BJP leader L Ganesan drew widespread criticism from the Dalit communities for his remarks on untouchability. The BJP leader on Sunday while explaining the origins of untouchability in India said it was a method of self-restraint for hygiene purposes. Clarifying his position, he said “ In RSS, we don’t ask for a person’s caste”.
