Presumed by many as the world’s costliest chocolate, Amedei Porcelana is a dark chocolate produced by the Amedei chocolatier in Tuscany, Italy. The chocolate is prepared with Porcelana cocoa beans, which comes from a genetically pure strain of criollo, a bean native to Venezuela. Amedei produces only 20,000 of these 50g bars, each of which, are individually numbered on the rear of the pack and is sold at $90 dollars a piece.
