Air India on Sunday reportedly launched flights between Chennai and Coimbatore by extending a Delhi-Chennai service. The AI 429 will take off from Chennai at 1.25pm and reach Coimbatore at 2.20pm. It will leave Coimbatore at 3.05pm daily to reach Chennai at 4.15pm. Air India had been operating a flight from Delhi to Coimbatore via Mumbai for a long time. Now, this flight would be operated only between Mumbai and Coimbatore, Air India officials said.
