We announced you a couple of days ago that Dangal fame Fatima Sana Shaikh signed her next film Thugs of Hindostan. The latest we hear from a Bollywood diary is that the actress will be romancing Aamir Khan in the movie.

Fatima Sana Shaikh who played Aamir’s daughter's role in Dangal will be playing his love interest. This is unusual isn't it? This news soon went viral across social media with a few section of people even trolling both Fatima and Aamir. On May 8, 2017, the actress herself came forward to give an explanation on the issue to a Mumbai-based publication. She said she was disheartened and sad to witness such reactions. She further added that as an actress she is trying to justify and differentiate her characters betweens two films.

The actress also said just because she acted as Aamir's daughter in Dangal it is unfair to criticize her for choosing Aamir's love interest role in Thugs of Hindostan.
