Venture in to cinima as a director. The movie
is a cheerful and romantic one. Both Prasanna
and Karthick have expressed their character
competently.Priya has brought out the feelings
from a women’s view point, scripted and
directed the film to provide a clean family
entertainer. It is a duet cum romantic movie.
Priya knits a love story of a boy and a girl
in an unusual manner with more of entertainment.
Review
Krishna
(Prasanna) and Ramya (Laila) knew each other in
their childhood .They are friendly but do not
agree so fast and are at constant bickering.They
are like north and south poles.
After
a gap of two decades they meet with the same childhood
prangs. Priya has showcased Laila’s theatrical
potential. Prasanna’s character had come
to the fore spontaneously. Both of them recall
their childhood scenes when they are at each others
throat and they carry their attitude to adulthood
(one should watch and enjoy). Aravind (Karthick
Kumar) a young youth lives abroad and matters
worsen when he come down to get married as he
is engaged to Ramya. Knowing this Krishna tries
ways and means to stop the marriage. But the docile
character of Ramya is not liked by Aravind and
he leaves to U.S. not confident if he wants to
marry such an unassumimg character. Conflict between
Ramya and Krishna continous and Ramya accuses
Krishna for Aravind's attitude.
Turning point in the story takes an effect
on Ramya and Krishna. Reveathy (Laila’s
mother) falls sick and is hospitalized. Krishna
comes into and helps the family. Romance starts
between the two. Meanwhile Aravind decides to
come down and get married Whether Laila marrys
Krishna or Aravind is the crux of the story(Watch
and enjoy). Watch out the sober attitude of
Lakshmi and Reveathy. The second half of the
story is a matured one that has worked to better
advantage. Yuvan rocks the movie and some of
his songs are humworthy. P.C.Sriram has beautifully
framed the visuals and the settings according
to the mood disturbances .E.Ramadas have penned
the dialogue with great skill.But the repeation
of certain dialogues could have been avoided.
Prasanna was more prominent in this movie after
Azhagiya Theeyae and Kasthuriman Laila’s
docile nature and the burning fire inside had
given a natural touch to the story and had highlighted
her performance.The film portrays the usual
love story in a different style.On the whole
Kanda
Naal Muthal is a film that
takes pleasure in and brings a magic charm to
all categories of spectators.
