"SYE RAA IS RAM CHARAN'S GIFT TO HIS FATHER": RATHNAVELU ON SYE RAA NARASIMHA REDDY, INDIAN 2 AND MUCH MORE

Rathnavelu spoke about his upcoming projects Sarileru Neekevvaru and Indian 2. “My previous projects (Rangasthalam and Sye Raa) were extremely demanding and took three years of my life. Post that, Mahesh Babu approached me with a light-hearted script like Sarileru Neekevvaru, which we shot quickly.” Adding that certain portions were shot with LED panels, a photorealistic and cost-efficient substitute to  green screen technique, as it  enables the actor to interact with the surroundings in a better way.

Regarding the much-awaited Kamal Haasan film, he said "Indian 2 is a very interesting script. The biggest strength of Shankar sir is the way he conveys socially relevant themes in his films. He has approached that aspect in a modern way through this project. Also, this is my first film with Kamal sir, which is also exciting."
