THE FILM PARODIES THE RULING ESTABLISHMENT

In a time where any constructive criticism or a light-hearted joke on the ruling party/government invites a lot of personal attacks and widespread protests, the film subtly manages to satirize the Indian Government's "Fit India campaign" and the remarkable and the popular decision to release thermacol sheets into the banks of Vaigai dam by Mr Sellur Raju  the Hon'ble Minister of Cooperation in the Tamil Nadu government, raising a lot of eyebrows from viewers without provocation. This shows the tolerant nature of Tamil film audience and the display of clean humour.
