EXPECTATION METER

What is a Valentine's Day without a romantic movie? Looks like this year we have an entrant at the box office unlike previous years in which the day just goes unnoticed usually. Directed by debut director Ravi Lallin, Sillunu Oru Sandhippu is a college romance with Vimal, Oviya and Dipa Shah playing the lead. 

Earlier set to be released on 25th January, the makers seem to have decided to push the movie's release to Valentine's Day weekend since they wanted the movie to be noticed and away from the threat of big movies. Produced by Nandhagopal for his banner Madras Enterprises, Sillunu Oru Sandhippu has music by FS Faizal. The movie has a single track called Busse Bussem about the Bus Day scored by Faizal. 

Filmed in locations across Chennai, Ooty and Malaysia, Sillunu Oru Sandhippu has cinematography by Rajesh Yadav. While Vishwaroopam is still hogging theater spaces all over Tamil Nadu, Sillunu Oru Sandhippu will have it tough if it did not turn out to be a charming and unpretentious love story. That, we hope it will be!
