A love story in a children’s film – not the best place to showcase romance. But, this one was not the regular chocolate and flowers kind of romance and credit to Vimal and Vega; Meenakshisundaram and Sobikannu in Pasanga. Vimal had a childish grin on his face, exuded cute charm and looked mischievous in spite of having a fully grown beard. Vega on the other hand had a bit of a naughty smile but also carried an air of confidence which she used while confronting Vimal in their quarrels. And, their quarrels did not look like grown up emotional differences, more like childhood skirmishes which increased the appeal of the film.
