Two teams that did their jobs to near perfection! The gang of children in Pasanga was a treat to watch on screen. Their performances belied their age. The bonding, the rivalry, the envy, resentment and the extremely unique ways of getting even with their adversaries were highly enjoyable. If Pasanga provided immense enjoyment, the Naan Kadavul team took us to both ends of the spectrum of emotions. Their daily life, their struggles and their nearly wretched existence make us feel heavy in our hearts. But, at the same time, many amongst them managed to liven up the screen with wisecracks and off hand humor when we least expected it to happen. It seemed that they had not time to care about the distress in their life; they wanted to look only at the brighter side of things.
