We know that Kamal dreams big when it comes to his movies. Over the years he has made some wonderful movies straight from his heart. There are, as we know, a couple of films that he put a lot into but ran into rough weather, Marudhanayagam and Marmayogi. But, the film that is perhaps closest to his heart is still waiting for the right time to come out. Ponniyin Selvan, one of Tamil literature’s best works, a much loved and revered account of Tamil life during the times of Raja Raja Cholan. Reports are that the storyline of Marmayogi bear similarities to Ponniyin Selvan. Well, let’s hope that we get a chance to find out.
