Straight from the Maestro’s heart. It gets better when he does it in his own voice. A heavy song about a child yearning for his mother. The lines are simple, but high on emotion, can get to one if proper attention is paid. The feeling imparted by Ilayaraja’s voice and the sparing use of sounds has to be experienced. It is absolute class.
