satires are making a comeback of sorts. Tropic
Thunder did so well at the box office. (Sadly,
our own Velli Thirai didn't). Here, De Niro plays
a big producer (based on the life of real life
producer Art Linson who gave us The Untouchables)
who has to convince Bruce Willis (playing himself
here!) to shave off his beard in order to fit
the character he’s playing. Can Willis be
persuaded? Wait and see. Full of insider lore,
movie buffs will connect with this one.
