Maharshi is an upcoming Telugu film directed by Vamsi Paidiapally and jointly produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema.
The film stars Mahesh Babu, Allari Naresh, Pooja Hegde and others. There have been so much buzz in the internet recently that this movie will be remade in Tamil. Rumours also suggested that Thalapathy Vijay will star in this remake.
It must be noted Vijay has already starred in remakes of Mahesh Babu’s films. The films Gilli and Pokkiri are remakes of films Okkadu and Pokkiri namely. These films were received well.
