After the stupendous success of ‘2.0’ starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood’s Khiladi King, Akshay Kumar, director Shankar had kicked off the initial process for the sequel to the 1996 film ‘Indian’ titled ‘Indian 2’ with Kamal Haasan in the lead.
However, the shooting for the sequel was delayed as Kamal was busy with the recent elections. But today, there was a strong buzz on the social media that Shankar has decided to move on to a new project and is reportedly in talks with Reliance Entertainment. The project was said to star Thalapathy Vijay and Chiyaan Vikram as the main leads.
Post this, when we cross-checked the news with our sources, they strongly denied stating that the news was completely false and no such talks happened, putting an end to the rumour.
On the work front, Vijay is currently busy with Thalapathy 63's final schedule directed by Atlee co-starring Nayanthara, Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek. And on the other hand, Vikram's 'Kadaram Kondan', produced by Kamal Haasan is set to release soon.
