Actress Vidya Balan was last seen on screen in Tamil in Thala Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai which was released on August 8th. The film also featured Sharaddha Srinath, Abhirami, Andrea Tariang amongst others in important roles. The film is the adaptation of the 2016 Hindi film, 'Pink' which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and others.

Vidya Balan recalls her casting couch incident

Apart from this, she is also basking in the roaring success of her latest venture Mission Mangal which had featured Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi and others. Directed by Jagan Shakthi, the film had opened up to rave reviews.

In an exclusive interview with a leading media portal, Pinkvilla, when the actress was asked if she had any casting couch experience, she had narrated a shocking incident. “One day I remember I was in Chennai and this director came to meet me. I said let's sit in the coffee shop and he said no let’s go to your room. He kept insisting that he wants to talk to me and should go to the room. I left the door of my room open and he left within five minutes.  He didn’t say anything, he didn’t make a move or anything. Today, while talking about this, this suddenly struck me that this has happened.” Watch the full interview below -
