ACTRESS POORNA SHOCKING REVELATIONS: "GIRLS WERE LOCKED FOR 8-10 DAYS IN A HOTEL IN THE PRETEXT OF SHOOTING!"

Speaking about the terrible ordeal of the blackmailing case the actress endured, she said - "The main reason I decided to file a case is because of the distress that this ordeal had caused to my family. Many girls have been victim of the gang - they are professionals - that's the one thing I could understand because they are so organized - they have a lot of characters in their story - even ladies are involved. I found that many girls were shut up in a hotel during lockdown for about 10 days in the pretext of movie and ad shoots."

Poorna added that many celebrities had spoken to her and offered emotional support. "The one thing everyone said is that this incident has occurred to me so that I could put an end to these perpetrators. I must be destined to get them arrested. Hope many girls learn a lesson from this and be cautious."

She also mentioned that such incidents occur because still for many women, the industry is a fantasy. "All girls are so eager to join the industry that are all ready to meet people, and network to get an opportunity. But what I want to say is that girls should be careful. We can all say that we have rights - yes we do, but we girls don't have proper freedom and that is what is truth."

Poorna also spoke about her role in Thalaivi as Sasikala and said it wasn't as controversial as one would expect. "We are so eager to get back on the sets, and it was in the middle of the shoot that lockdown interrupted. I am thankful to Vijay sir for giving me this wonderful opportunity."
