Thala Ajith will be next seen in his upcoming film, Nerkonda Paarvai which is the official Tamil remake of the hit film, Pink which had starred Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, , Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Angad Bedi, Piyush Mishra, and Dhritiman Chatterjee in a pivotal role.
Directed by H.Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor, Nerkonda Paarvai will feature Ajith reprising the role of Amitabh and Shraddha Srinath in Taapsee’s role, Abhirami Venkatachalam in Kirti’s role and Andrea will be seen essaying her original role.
The film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the cinematography will be handled by Nirav Shah. The film was earlier announced to be released on August 10th, however the makers are trying to release the film bit earlier.
In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, when the producer was asked when Ajith pitched the idea of Pink remake, Boney Kapoor suddenly interrupted and said that Ajith was the one who actually pitched the remake idea. He actually suggested how this remake would be. And late actress Sridevi and Boney reacted positively and were very excited about it. Sridevi had felt that this would be an ideal project for Ajith.
