STR'S MOTHER TURNS A SINGER!

Simbu is making his music directorial debut through Santhanam’s Sakka Podu Podu Raja. The album apparently comprises of 5 tracks, and when we got in touch with VTV Ganesh, this is what he had to say,

“STR has finished composing all the 5 songs of Sakka Podu Podu Raja. Most importantly there is a mass song ‘va munima va’ which feature STR’s mother Usha Rajender’s vocals. Yes, she will be turning a singer for this album. T Rajender has also rendered his voice for this mass track. Anirudh sings the intro song of Santhanam. Yuvan is singing a song ‘Kaadhal Devathai’ penned by Vairamuthu. Leon James has sung one of the songs. Simbu is introducing two new singers Vasudev Krishnan, son of singer Unni Krishnan and Keerthana."

Talkie portions of the movie are over. Song shoot is planned to roll by 15th of this month. Locations of the song shoot are Ooty, Bengaluru, Chennai and USA (2 songs).”
