In a Facebook post, the ace musician said the film stars were allowed to take selfies while cell phones of musicians were not allowed at the event, which was held on October this year. “Upon entering the premises, singers were asked to leave their cellphones with the security personnel and were given tokens for the same,” he wrote.

Balasubrahmanyam also mentioned that he was able to attend the function organised by the prime minister with the help of Ramoji Rao. The event was held to interact with the film fraternity and to spread the ideas of  Mahatma Gandhi through media industries.
