After that, superstar Rajinikanth gave a speech during the occasion, in which he had said that "Recently, Suriya's other side was revealed when he spoke about the education system. I support and welcome the ideas shared by him" He also added "Surya has said that after witnessing the pain of poor students (Kabilan said) that had Rajini spoken this, Narendra Modi would have listened, but Modi has listened to Suriya already." 

The whole stadium erupted during this moment. Rajinikanth said that Suriya must continue to do more films and concluded by wishing 'Kaappaan' team a phenomenal success.
