The hot and trending topic on social media currently is the controversy involving Sarkar's story similarity with that of Sengol, written by Varun Rajendran back in 2007.

Director Bhagyaraj, the president of the Film writers association had issued a statement saying that the stories have been read and that they most definitely are similar. 

This irked a major controversy that ended at court. The verdict came out today, and the two parties came into compromise as well.

Now, actor Shanthnu, the son of Bhagyaraj has opened up to Behindwoods in an exclusive conversation. He talks about the Sarkar controversy and his father's involvement in it.
