SHAH RUKH KHAN’S FILM BANNED IN PAKISTAN

Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees released on the 25th January worldwide and has been doing good business.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s fans across the border, in Pakistan, will not be able to catch their favorite hero’s film on the screen as the Central Censor Board in the country decided not to release the film in Pakistan. According to the reports, the board had felt that the film "undermines Islam, and a specific religious sect, (It also) portrays Muslims as criminals, wanted persons and terrorists".

Last week, Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil was released in Pakistan after a month-long self-imposed ban by exhibitors was lifted.
