Now, the foot-tapping number has added a new feather to its cap. 'Rowdy Baby' has crossed five million likes on YouTube and is the first and fastest video from South India to pull off this feat.

Earlier, Dhanush had shared his inspiration behind penning the superhit song. He took to Instagram to share a photo of him lovingly looking at a bottle of soda. He wrote, '"Hey en goli soda ve !!" That lyric inspiration moment .. #rowdybaby'."
Released in the year 2018, 'Maari 2' was directed by Balaji Mohan and featured actors like Dhanush, Sai Pallavi, Tovino Thomas, and Varalaxmi. The song 'Rowdy Baby' from the movie, sung by Dhee and Dhanush became an instant hit due to its catchy lyrics and Prabhu Deva's choreography and the duo executing it to their best.
