The director had revealed that the film is set in a rural backdrop and is expected to be shot in Ambasamudram, Kallidaikurichi and Tirunelveli towns of Tamil Nadu earlier. It was also said that Santhanam had been training in Silambam from the popular action master Stunt Silva for this film.

And now, from our close sources, we have been informed that the shooting of the film will commence from the 3rd week of September and to continue for 45 days. Also, the title of the film is speculated to be Vithaikkaran.

Meanwhile, director Kannan also has another project that has Atharvaa and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead. The first schedule shooting of the film was recently wrapped. On the other hand, Santhanam is awaiting the release of Vijay Anand’s 'Dagaalty' and the long-held 'Server Sundaram' amongst others.
