NATIONAL AWARD-WINNER TO PLAY VILLAIN IN ALLU ARJUN'S NEXT

Recently, the makers had released a promo of the film which featured a glimpse in the movie. The video featured the title reveal as well as a ten-second peek into the film. The film is slated to release on January 2020.

Meanwhile, sources close to us have informed that National Award-winning actor Samuthirakani will be playing the role of antagonist in the film. Apart from Ala Vaikunthapuramulo, the actor is also roped in to play an important role in SS Rajamouli's epic RRR, which stars Ram Charan and NTR Jr in lead roles.

Ala Vaikunthapuramulo also marks the comeback of veteran actress Tabu in Telugu cinema after a gap of 11 years. Apart from the leads, the film also stars Murli Sharma, Nivetha Pethuraj, Rajendra Prasad, Jayaram, Sushanth, Vennela Kishore, Sunil, Navdeep, Brahmaji and others in crucial roles.

On the technical front, Ala Vaikunthapuramulo is shot by 'Super Deluxe' fame lensman P.S. Vinod while Navin Nooli handles the editing department. Thaman will be composing the songs and background score of the film.
