SK SURPRISES: AFTER PLAYING VILLAIN, POPULAR ACTOR TO PLAY SIVAKARTHIKEYAN'S FATHER IN NAMMA VEETTU PILLAI

The film's first and second look posters were released amidst much expectations from fans and audience. In this rural-based drama, Sivakarthikeyan is paired opposite 'Thupparivalan' fame actress Anu Emmanuel while the ensemble supporting cast includes actors Aishwarya Rajesh Natty, Soori, Bharathiraja, Archana, Yogi Babau, Meera Mitun and others.

Meanwhile, our close sources have informed that actor Samuthirakani and Archana will be playing the roles of Sivakarthikeyan's father and mother respectively, while Bharathiraja will be playing the grandfather's role. With such characters, one can expect a dose of family based emotions in the film on the lines of the director's earlier projects.

On the technical front, Namma Veettu Pillai is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures. The film is shot by ace lensman while D. Imman will be composing music for the film. The makers are eyeing for a September release.
