Selvaraghavan’s Suriya starrer NGK is an upcoming political thriller in Tamil that also stars Sai Pallavi, Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The trailer and music of the film have already been released and that has indeed has hyped the expectations for the film.

Rakul on working with Selvaraghavan with NGK

While talking about the film and her experience of working with one of the most versatile directors Selvaraghavan, Rakul Preet Singh shared some interesting information. She said: "Selvaraghavan is very different from other directors. He brings out the best acting skills of actors easily. He even teaches you how to not blink too much in between certain dialogues, the breathing pattern and every minor thing.

He also acts out the body language of other junior artists on the scene and explains how to act in song sequences too. No one will be talking on the movie sets, everyone will be busy practising their dialogues, their walk, behaviour and reactions. He also has a three seconds rule where every actor needs to give 3 seconds time between every dialogue so as to make it easy for editing. Even if an actor continues their dialogue without this gap, he goes for a retake.

He ensures that the characterisation is shown and the acting comes out well in terms of body language too. I love the song Anbe Peranbe song from this film. I usually watch my films only in theatres during its release. Likewise, I will be watching NGK in theatres in Mumbai on its worldwide release on May 31."
