Devi 2 is an upcoming film featuring Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah in the lead roles. It is directed by Vijay and produced by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh and Ravindran under the banner Vels International and Trident Arts respectively.
The film also stars Dimple Hayathi, Kovai Sarala, R J Balaji, Ajmal Amir, Nandita Swetha and others in crucial roles. The film is all set for a release on 31st May, alongside Suriya's NGK. The film is a sequel to Devi which came out in 2016, featuring majority of the cast of Devi 2, and directed by Vijay himself.
The makers have released a sneak peek of the horror flick ahead of it's release, and it has a scene where Prabhu Deva is running behind a woman, and asks her to accept his love, while his wife, Tamannaah, looks at this with shock.
Devi 2 has music by Sam CS, cinematography by Ayananka Bose, and editing by Anthony. This is the second film of the year for Prabhu Deva and Vijay, after Charlie Chaplin 2 and Watchman respectively. Stay tuned for more updates.
