National award-winning director Pandiraj is currently working with actor Sivakarthikeyan. The film will be produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures and is expected to be a commercial entertainer. Pandiraj had recently completed a decade of working in the Tamil film industry as a filmmaker.

Pandiraj had previously collaborated with Suriya in the Karthi-starrer 'Kadaikutty Singam', which was produced by the actor and directed by Pandiraj. Suriya will be next seen in the Selvaraghavan-directed Tamil political drama 'NGK', that is set to release on May 31.
