Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures released for Diwali earlier this year and was a massive success as the box office.

The film's songs were composed by AR Rahman and it was a successful album from the master. One of the biggest hits was the song Oruviral Puratchi, sung by ARR himself.
