TN THEATRE OWNERS MAKE A BIG MOVE IN THE ISSUE OF 'THEATRE - OTT' FILM RELEASES
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsMaster was one of the highly anticipated films, which was touted as the one that'd bring the crowds back to the theatres and proved everyone true to the word. Meanwhile, Master recently released on OTT platform - Amazon Prime, and the film was expected to be dropped from its theatrical run soon.
However, distributors and theatre owners have now come forward with their take as to the time frame or time gap that is required for a movie to change its course from theatres to OTT platforms - an initiative for a fixed decision that would benefit everyone.
This news was conveyed by Tiruppur Subramaniam, who informed that hereafter, a written confirmation that the movie will make its debut in OTT platforms only 30days after Theaterical release, and the time frame can be negotiated to a higher limit for big budget films, like 50 days.
About the recent Master movie, it was announced that the film has been sanctioned run in theatres till this Thursday.
